How do I apply for the rebate program and what are the requirements?

Great news! You may be eligible for a rebate on your insulation project. Here’s what you need to know in order to apply:

First, check to see if your contractor is licensed and registered with the Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB). If they are, then they should be able to help you with the application process.

Next, gather all of the relevant documentation for your project, including receipts, invoices, and any other paperwork that will help prove the cost of your project. Once you have everything together, simply fill out the online application form and submit it.

There are a few other requirements that you’ll need to meet in order to qualify for the rebate, so be sure to read through the program’s guidelines carefully. But if you do qualify, you could receive a nice little rebate check to help offset the cost of your insulation project. So why not apply today?

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) offers rebates on qualified energy-efficient products and improvements for your home. When you purchase and install these products, you can save energy and money while reducing your impact on the environment. Learn more at pge.com/rebates.

What types of insulation qualify for the rebate program, and how much money can I expect to receive back from the state government?

The California state government offers a rebate program for homeowners and licensed insulation contractors who install qualifying insulation materials in eligible homes. The types of insulation that qualify for the rebate program include batts, rolls, loose-fill fiberglass, blown-in fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam. The amount of money that homeowners can expect to receive back from the state government varies depending on the type of insulation installed and the size of the home. For example, homeowners who install cellulose insulation in a 2,000 square foot home may be eligible for up to $1,200 rebate.
